June Mulligan is a dedicated law enforcement professional with over seven years of experience in law enforcement. She has been with the investigation unit of the sex offender department for the last year. With a strong background in canine training, she has spent five and a half years working alongside dogs in human remains detection. This unique expertise amplifies her investigative capabilities and underscores her deep understanding of the critical role that canine partners play in complex investigations. Through her work, she has developed a profound bond with these remarkable animals, further enhancing her effectiveness in locating evidence that can be pivotal in solving cases. Before her career in law enforcement, June proudly served eight years in the military, which laid the foundation for her steadfast dedication to public safety. This formative experience equipped her with essential skills in discipline, leadership, and strategic thinking, all of which she brings to her current role.
An advocate for continuous learning and professional development, June remains committed to staying updated on the latest methodologies and technologies in law enforcement and canine training. She frequently participates in workshops and seminars and is eager to share her insights and experiences with others in the field.
She will be finishing her bachelor's degree with a concentration in homeland security, building on her associate degree. June's love for animals runs deep, having spent her childhood helping her parents with their nonprofit organization, "Suzie's Pride," where they rehomed and rehabilitated big cats like lions and tigers.
When she's not busy with her K9 partner or tackling investigations, June enjoys spending time outdoors, reading books, and cheering on her son at baseball games, embodying a spirit of adventure in both her personal and professional life.
June is currently certified nationally through NOCSAR and NNDDA with K9 Mina.
